I actually didn’t watch Django and need to change the post. I ended up putting Blancanieves on instead which was just so disturbing and so beautiful. But I totally agree about Cloud Atlas – it was a really sensitive adaptation and can’t believe it didn’t get more love.

And pretty good with a cup of tea after the stormy wet of London today! There’s been a lot of mentions of the Orkneys recently – I’m feeling nostalgic for that last trip.

Django I liked. It is in the end a Tarantino film. We watched Cloud Atlas over the weekend and thought it was beautiful.
